David Bowie, Terry Wogan, Ronnie Corbert, Victoria Wood, Muhammad Ali, Rick Parfitt, Debbie Reynolds have all sadly left us. There are, of course, many other names that could be added to this list – well known figures (celebrities? not a word I like to use) and people missed by families and friends. The seven people are in my mini list because they were the people who were part of my growing up. They entertained me. Their passing made me realise that I am of an age that remembers what they did, and therefore I may soon be joining them. This is not a depressing thought. It reminded me to try to enjoy each day and live it as though it is the last. Not an easy thing to do, but worth trying.
